• Facebook Pushes Android Update to Enable Silent Updates (Bypassing the Play Store) An update to Facebook for Android was pushed out last night that completely bypassed the Google Play store. The update, confirmed by Facebook to be official, lets you hide stories, report spam, and start group messages more quickly. • Microsoft in the clear to add Google CalDAV support to Windows Phone Despite discontinuing CalDAV, Google has whitelisted Microsoft as one of the few developers that will be able to access its CalDAV API. • Samsung: Galaxy S4's Improvements Will Come to Galaxy S3 At the NYC media event announcing the Samsung Galaxy S4, the company announced that many of the S4's software improvements will be making their way to existing Galaxy S3's.
